Meter and Lancing Device Cleaning and Disinfecting

Wash hands thoroughly

with soap and water.

For disinfecting the

lancing device, get

a new cloth. Repeat

step2 following

the manufacturer’s

instructions for

disinfecting.

Wash hands thoroughly

with soap and water.

Dry the lancing device

and cap with a soft cloth

or gauze.

Make sure no solution is

seen in any opening.

Wipe the entire surface

of the lancing device and

the inside of the cap with

an approved cleaning

and disinfecting product.

How to Clean and Disinfect the Lancing Device

WARNING

Failure to follow these instructions may damage the lancing device and stop it from working properly.

• DO NOT get any moisture into any openings.

• Always use the same product for both cleaning and disinfecting.
