For blood application inside the meter:

Apply the hanging drop of blood imme-

diately from the finger to the yellow

application area of the test strip. Do not

touch the application area with your

finger. Continue with step (12).

For blood application outside the meter:

Remove the test strip and leave the flap

open. Apply the hanging drop of blood

immediately from the finger to the

yellow application area of the test strip.

Do not let the application area come

into contact with your skin. Insert the

test strip back into the meter.

You can apply blood with the strip

inside or outside the meter.

To avoid incorrect results, make sure

the application area is completely

covered with blood.
